Description
The Fantastic Forest, a work in two illustrated collections, offers 10 educational pieces intended for semi-collective lessons. They are written for 2 or 3 undergraduate harp students.
These pieces use the instrument's sound resources and playing modes (xylophone sounds, plucked sounds, fingernail sounds, slide sounds, whistled sounds, etc.) and also call upon the voice (poem, spoken voice, sung voice). Each collection offers a piece of graphic writing, which will give students great freedom, so they will already be improvisers and creators of their own music.
The themes addressed in these pieces are inspired by nature and animals – real or imaginary – universal themes that every child experiences through their own life.
Each piece is readable, attractive and meaningful so that everyone can make it their own.
Students and teachers can give free rein to their imagination to come up with stagings during public performances.
1. The moon is bored
2. Forests and seasons
3. The dragon comes out of its lair
4. The river
5. Charlotte, the groundhog
6. A nice owl
