Description

Intermezzo is taken from the incidental music written in 1956 by P. Wissmer for Aeschlimann's comedy L'Orpailleur ou Le trésor de Mandrin, created in Geneva on March 22, 1966 under the direction of the composer with a stage direction by D. Rozan.

Primavera and Autunno, written in 1989, are, along with the 9th Symphony, the last works composed by P. Wissmer. Apart from tempi, the manuscripts are devoid of any musical indications (dynamics, articulations).
