Clarinette, en scène ! volume 1 is a collection for beginners to play the clarinet, in B flat or C, organized into 20 lessons, innovative in its presentation, methodical in its progression and musically fun.

Each lesson allows you to learn a new note through very short exercises that involve the ear, reading, digital feeling, and memorization, supplemented by posture advice and theoretical references that are only there to support the essential role of the teacher.

The particularity of this method is to quickly and simply approach the high notes with the 12th clef in order to understand the principle of the clarinet's quintoy, to build a solid embouchure and a solid column of air.

The work on the extremely low notes, sometimes delicate for small hands, will be dealt with at the end of the collection, first with the right hand alone, in the form of stops (mouthpiece on lower body), then with the whole clarinet.

Arrangements of nursery rhymes and original compositions by Gilles Martin, for 2 clarinets or clarinet and piano, complete the 20 lessons in a fun and progressive way.

If the best method is one that can be adapted to each individual, Clarinette, en scène! also aims to be a reservoir of ideas allowing each student to develop at their own pace. Let's bet that it will be a source of inspiration, motivation and pleasure
