Description
All so-called "Chamber Music" ensembles strive to develop their technique in order to achieve perfect homogeneity (timbre, accuracy, rhythms and nuances). This unique three-part collection allows you to train and prepare your ear for this purpose, which is essential for listening to these concepts.
All the pieces can be played in an order chosen by the teacher, according to the student's level. Since the author has taken care to give the first and second cellos the same difficulties, it will be easier to bring together two students of the same level (especially if their lessons are consecutive), in order to encourage collective music, the objective of the collection.
These relays of sounds, chained and alternating from one cello to another, encourage the performers to listen to their partner note by note, thus developing auditory memory, and to demonstrate extreme concentration.
To avoid the difficulties due to the juxtaposition of the two hands, the first of these three parts will be reserved for open string relays; the conclusion of this part proposes a more conventional writing.
Let's consider the second part as a more entertaining musical interlude, the result of listening work.
The third and final part of the book demonstrates that contemporary sounds are also adaptable to this technique. It can be practiced with two or more musicians, regardless of the instrument family. May this book interest chamber musicians and help them progress in their art!
