Description
The Ukrainian suite was written when Ihor Shamo was 23 years old. These four pieces’ opus are inspired by Ukrainian folklore. Everything is lyrical and wonderfully harmonized. Ihor Shamo’s piano writing is already perfect and worthy of all his works. Vesnyanka has become the " hit" of pianists in Ukraine. However, the other three pieces compete with it with melancholy, poetry, or even more dynamic audacity.
