Description

In 2013, Guy-Claude Luypaerts dedicated the triptych "Parfums de Mer" to the Ensemble Hélios.
The composer's expressive language finds its full flowering there.
Flautist G.-C. Luypaerts gives this instrument a special place within the quartet, but the strings, with their sometimes complex texts, also have their share of song and their sound treatment is not without interest.
This beautiful quartet is not avant-garde in its language, but from the first listen, it always deeply resonates with the audience with its sincerity and enthusiasm.
We love playing it.
