De l’élève à l’artiste. Volume 2

Livre du professeur

Jean-Marc ALLERME

To reveal the artist within the student

De l’élève à l’artiste is a unique concept: each volume contains 12 tracks to be "assembled" like an artist recording an album. Each track is the culmination of one to three weeks of work in thematic workshops led by the teacher: reading notes and rhythms, singing, listening, and writing to learn and review the curriculum elements. A CD contains the complete recordings, intermediate versions, and backing tracks of the pieces.

Description

Based on a unique concept, this new series aims to help you unleash the musician and artist within each student. The goal of each of the four albums is to "assemble" 12 tracks, much like an artist preparing for a live performance or recording an album. Each track represents the culmination and achievement of a preparation session, the work for which can span one, two, or even three weeks, depending on available time. The teacher's album contains the complete student book, supplemented by answer keys for the exercises, advice and instructions specifically for the teacher, and the accompaniments and chord symbols for the tracks. Each session is organized into various thematic workshops—note reading, rhythm, singing, listening, and writing—designed to teach, practice, and sometimes review the necessary technical and musical elements, following the progression defined by the program. The CD includes recordings of the full versions and backing tracks of the 12 tracks and, where useful, intermediate versions, particularly in tracks with multiple voices.
