Description

Commissioned by the Haunted Anches Quartet, this arrangement is intended for a quartet of musicians of at least 3rd cycle.

Remaining faithful to the original score, I have endeavored to transcribe DEBUSSY's musical intentions, while also drawing inspiration from the ideas of Henri BÜSSER's orchestration, perhaps less well known.
The movements have been transposed from the original key for reasons of tessitura, but also in order to favor tonalities that are most suited to the clarinet quartet.
