Description

Premiered on July 12, 2014, at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

Written in 2014 and premiered at Notre Dame de Paris as part of a gathering of the Pueri Cantores, this mass is composed of four parts: Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, and Agnus Dei. It unfolds like a grand paraphrase based on reminiscences of Gregorian phrases. The organ part, quite orchestral, is not conceived as an accompaniment to the choir but as an extension of it. The writing in double choir reinforces the idea of the circulation of melodic elements in the sound space.
