Description

Clarissimo, Latin 'clarinet ballad' is a collection of original compositions featuring a wide range of rhythms from traditional and popular Latin American and Caribbean music. Whether from the altiplano (Huayno from Peru, Takirari from Bolivia), the Pacific or Atlantic coasts (Cumbia from Colombia, Milonga from Argentina) or the Caribbean islands (Bolero from Cuba, Reggae from Jamaica), these musics with swaying rhythms present several educational interests for both the student and the teacher.

First of all, this music of oral tradition invites musicians (teacher and student) to appropriate it by memorizing it through listening to the CD (active listening, singing the melody, etc.).

The setup can then be worked on by playing, with or without score, on the playback tape.

In addition, the student will have the opportunity to develop their musical sense beyond the instrument: singing their part while clapping the specific rhythm indicated on each of the pieces; the work can be deepened by associating the pulse with the foot.

The first two pieces (shorter) were specially designed for beginners (beginning of the 1st cycle).

NB: The more complex second voice can be played by a more experienced student or by the teacher. It often suggests the rhythm played by the playback track, which allows the teacher to accompany the first voice (with or without the playback) while still capturing the rhythmic specificity of the piece.

Finally, this book aims to help you discover and love a style of music that is still little known and accessible to all.

Have a good trip !
