Description
This work was requested by Serge Daval, the dedicatee, who oversaw its premiere at the Salle Cortot in Paris in 1978. It has since been performed by Jean-Marc Fessard and Nicolas Baldeyrou, among others.
This Triptych bears the mark of authors then cherished by Ivane Béatrice: Franck Martin ( Prélude ), André Jolivet (the muted energy of the Incantation is typical of the young 18-year-old composer) and Paul Hindemith for the irresistible Danse finale .
It contains some of the characteristics of Ivane Béatrice Bellocq's future works (such as Estrans, commissioned by Radio-France), including many for clarinet.
