Originally composed for solo piano, Alcibiade Minel transposed this little waltz for saxophone and piano, on Philippe Portejoie's request.
There is a bit of Ravel, but not too much, a bit of Satie, but not too much, and perhaps a bit of Philippe Sarde from Les Choses de la vie … The middle would be more akin to Tchaikovsky and his December from Les Saisons .
