Description
These Nouveaux Jeux are an alternative to the Rhythm and Clef Games series, with a progression spread over four levels instead of three. The pedagogical approach is both musical and playful, promoting solid technical assimilation. Each new skill is explored in a wide variety of settings (solo, one- or two-part, or in ensembles) and musical contexts. The rhythm exercises are enhanced by a selection of scores drawn from diverse repertoires. These pieces are presented with a simple chord chart, indicated according to the Anglo-Saxon system. These short pieces are offered in two versions: without chord symbols, to ensure readability for students, and with chord symbols in the final pages of the book.
